Monday, November 9, 2015. Some birthdays are a big deal. Have a real wow factor. At 16, you can drive. At 18, you can vote and buy your first pack of cigarettes, legally. At 21, you can get your first drink, again legally. 30 is supposed to be the next big one. I have found that my milestone birthdays are generally not on the standard timeline. At 17, I got my license and moved away from home. Got my first real job, my first car, eventually my first apartment! That was a big year for me! .
