We all had lots of fun taking part in Judo! What materials can you find around the classroom? What are their properties? Are they natural or man made? We had great fun designing pants for crazy pants day, our special day with Nick Sharratt! What was on your design? Making Popplets on the iPads . Year 2 used the iPads to make a mind map of what they think treasure is. They used an app called Popplet to show their ideas. Popplet lite is free to download via the App Store.

Remember, remember the 5th of November! This week it was bonfire night and we had lots of fun making firework pictures! We carefully drizzled paint and glue over our black sky background to make swirly fireworks. In Nursery, we enjoyed flicking paint brushes covered in paint to make our fireworks explode! September - A new term! .
Today our Year 4 children are at the Leadership Centre in Spennymoor for our annual Diversity conference with Tanfield Lea Primary School. We were very lucky to have Deputy Mitchell introduce our conference via webcam, and then we have been taking part in a variety of activities to promote diversity and the fact that everyone is different.
