Abraham Lincoln wrote and spoke many speeches that were important. One of his most important speeches was The House Divided Speech. It was about freeing blacks to end slavery. He believed that all men should be treated equal no matter what the color of your skin is. he used the emancipation proclamation to end it.

Herb brooks was a very important guy in the name of hockey. He changed the game in the eyes of many. His coaching and scouting methods were very unique. He lead a group of college students to win the gold metal in Lake Placid in 1980. Many thought that this could never happen.
