American to Britain

Providing you information to understand the British and enjoy your time here. My blog is moving! I am still blogging. So that I could arrange my information better. Please come over and see what I have done. I was very lucky to be able to go on a tour with Cambridge Ghost Tours. Also, as an American I find some tours presume you know who or what they are talking about. This was not the case with Cambridge Ghost Tours.

Huber HIGHlights

Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Our first stop was Edinburgh. Craigmillar castle is right on the edge of the city. This castle is the perfect castle for hide and go seek. So many nooks and crannies. No rhyme or reason to the layout. It was seriously like a maze because of all of the additions and changes that were made throughout the years. View of the city from the castle. Then we went into the city. We headed straight for the Royal Mile and walked to Edinburgh Castle. Close up of the castle from the hill.

A Texas Belle Trying to Make it in the Bright Lights of the Big City. At the age of six I wanted to be a cook. At seven I wanted to be Napoleon. And my ambition has been growing steadily ever since. If there has ever been a quote that sums up my general approach to life, it would be the one above. Not much has changed since then. Lover of bows, humor, J. Crew, and all things Southern.
