Valley View Secondary School Arts. Valley View Secondary School is set back from the main roads in a park like environment - where students are making a difference through Public Art and Sustainable Gardening Projects and the development of outdoor learning spaces. Creative arts strengthens the community development within the school environment and outside community. Through studying the Creative Arts at Valley Secondary School you can create public artworks for the school and exhibit within the community. A two part program held over two weeks and concluding with an expo. Wed, Thurs, Friday and Mon, Tues and Wed. They make a selection and participate in one project per week.
Environmental Science is a new course. Over the year, students in years 8-10 continually volunteer and are approached by school counsellor and Tech Studies teacher Malcolm Burgan to participate in the outdoor, hands on course centred on a series of small but interconnected gardening projects around the school.
