To embrace each part of me as a dancer and an artist is what my work illustrates and expresses; dancers of my many ethnicities. Inspired by dances from around the world, I see them all as art, a form of grace, beauty and deep seated roots of where we all come from. Looking at these two very important parts of my life, art and dance is what I visually explored this year.

Laurel was born and raised in Colorado and grew up in the mountains, now residing about ten minutes from the Renaissance Fair. She first became interested in art at an elementary school level. After that, she gave up art until her 10th year of schooling. She is now in AP art studio and uses her basement as a studio; exploring the world of colors and other such artistry magic.
