In the Learning Pod Mrs Cherie Enright teaches Reading Recovery to targeted Year 1 students every morning. In the Reading Recovery program students receive thirty minutes of individualised instruction in literacy. Mrs Enright, teaches students about letters, sounds, words, sentences and pictures through reading books and stories. This program helps students to gain a mastery of reading and print conventions.
