I am an assistant professor in the Department of Economics and the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development. My research interests lie at the intersection of environmental, energy, and agricultural economics.
Some of my research has also appeared in peer reviewed technical proceedings for NOAA and the EPA. I am currently developing a research agenda on groundwater use in Kansas agriculture. In my spare time I enjoy fly fishing, bird hunting, hunting Kansas whitetails with my bow, cooking, and following the Pittsburgh Steelers. Prior to starting my PhD, I was a research assistant at Resources for the Future in Washington, DC.
