Me ideas make a small difference; some ideas impact the world. Our use of nonotechnology will impact the world of cataract eye surgery. Nanotechnology, which was featured in the popular young-adult fictional series, Uglies, was the technology we wanted to work with. We decided to use nanotechnology in our project to help the visually impaired. This led to the creation of eyeBot. EyeBot is not one robot, as the name suggests, but about a dozen nanobots.
