Cady four times killing him at the Cady farmhouse in Wright Township, Ottawa County, Michigan. Buried in cemetery for unclaimed prisoners at the Asylum for Criminally Insane in Ionia, Michigan. Cady, age 29 at the time of his death, left a wife, Abbie, whom he married on December 30, 1877 in Lansing, Michigan and a 16-day-old child.
