On July 4th, residents feel like they are trapped in a war zone, unable to breathe the air outside, while their pets are terrorized. Many veterans of the modern wars suffer greatly on the 4th. Wildlife species have no tranquilizers. Support the existing prohibition of all fireworks in the County of Santa Cruz. Fireworks depredations in 2016 are less than in 2015.
