After sharing a few highlights from our winter breaks, we got back to work and into the swing of class life again. We do have two new friends who joined us at the beginning of the week, and we are really excited to get to know them.

We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Winter Celebration hosted by GWAPA. We tried new and festive drinks and food, had our faces and hands painted, we bought toys and added our thoughts to the tree. We had a wonderful time! Thank you to all parents for the delicious food brought into school for our Learning Celebration. We are learning to use x by 10 to help x by 5. First x the number by 10 and then halve it, for example, 36.

This unit has been a special one as every student is motivated to learn about their Rights. We read all the Rights, article by article, exploring new concepts and ideas. Children were so interested and surprised to discover all the Rights that protect children worldwide. And, with every right comes responsibilities as well! HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK! .

Look at what we aspire to be when we are older. We had an excellent Urban Exploration this week. A big thanks to Ms England for stepping for Miss Nicola and to Lisa, Ria, Anastasia and Chantal for joining us on the trip! After exploring how Dubai functions as a city, it was time to design our own Table Top Towns.

We were fortunate to have three wonderful new students join us after the break. Please welcome Rohan, Jasmin, and Abdelrahman to 3PB.
