The students of K2HH planned, designed and made a shelter for a stray cat called Sissy. We worked as a team using safety items such as goggles when we were hammering and drilling. A place where we share our learning journeys! Semester 2 - Week 19. Semester 2 started with the continuation of creating and analysing patterns. We moved from concrete patterns to more abstract, students creating their own number patterns. Students have really been using their planning skills as they began the research process for their artist research for How We Express Ourselves.
Before the holiday, students had been working on their own comic, making sure to include a problem and solution, and consider a story mountain when planning. The tricky part was planning a story that would fit in only 7 or 8 boxes! We explored the book .
