Wednesday, June 9, 2010. The Great Reading of Poetry. The craziness really picked up when the rest of the school came into the room, along with other teachers and some parents. The poetry reading had begun, and when I looked around I realized that I was in charge of introducing the event. I was so nervious but I remembered how brave the students were for reading poetry that they wrote. We had about 6 volunteers to read, and I held my breath as the first student stood in front of the microphone.
