I was reminded recently of a site I would like to use more in my classroom Socrative. I have used Socrative only once before for our 6. I used the Explain Everything App. As examples, observing the clear descriptions of the steps to follow and different ways of presenting the material. We looked at a brief tutorial that explained the basics of the app and then I let them explore on their own.

Even though the reality of having another course after teaching the whole day was really stressful just thinking about it, coming to this class was such a treat. Who can ever not take a course that teaches you how to use technology? I learned a lot of stuff that can be use in the future for my classes like using iMovie. Was quite an amazing experience.

My aims at the beginning of the course were that EDC 601 would be one of the better subjects that I would do as part of my masters. That I would walk away with technologies that I could actually apply in the classroom and that I would have the scope to research whatever technologies I found to be useful.
