I grew up around Snicarte and went to Balyki School until my Freshman year. My family moved to Havana, and I graduated from Havana High School. After graduation, I went to Western Illinois University to obtain my teaching degree. I started teaching 6th grade in Havana in 2006 and have loved every minute of it.
My mission as a teacher is to create a positive learning environment for students and to teach students to not only believe in themselves, but to challenge themselves so they can reach their full educational potential.
