Hello, my name is Barb King and I teach 6th Grade English Language Arts, which consists of reading, writing, and grammar. I have taught for 18 years, all at USD 495, starting with 5 years at 4th Grade, 3 years at Kindergarten, and 10 years at 6th Grade.

History offers information about how people and societies behave and function. Only through studying history can we grasp how things change, the factors that cause change and elements of society that persist despite change. Contributes to moral understanding by studying people who have weathered. Adversity and worked through moral dilemmas to provide lessons in courage.
