Dehlia from Pittsburg State University came to teach us about life cycles and structures of some Kansas insects and animals. We saw and got to feel some live creatures, some preserved animals, and some animal pelts.

Wednesday, January 13, 2016. We have begun our fossil unit. We have watched a Bill Nye the Science Guy fossil video which gave us a lot of initial knowledge. Cooper brought in his awesome collection of fossils to share with us. He was able to talk and explain each one very well. He had the groups very engaged. Thursday, November 5, 2015.
