Hi, my name is Julie Kanel and I am the ELL teacher in the lower school. I am from San Francisco, California and have been teaching in the Bay Area for over 20 years. I was a classroom teacher for several years before going back to school to become a reading specialist. Last summer, I took some additional courses to get my certification to work with English Language Learners.
