I have to say that this project was one of my absolute FAVORITES. I loved the freedom we had in making the project. My concept was simple, I was going to make a magazine collage. I was searching on Pinterest and it looked so easy! All you had to do was glue cut out pieces of magazines onto a canvas. FOREVER! I just hope we do projects like this in the future. A new product created by me! Above you can see the jingle I made for my infomercial about the Purslet.
Thanks for coming to my blog! When Mrs. Meyer first explained the 2D project I thought of doing something about volleyball right away! But with so much freedom I could do whatever I wanted and change my ideas. I went from doing a volleyball in front of a net to making a reflection of a volleyball court in a eye then finally I came to something totally different. I came to drawing a clarinet over a sheet of music.
For my product design project, I had tons of ideas flowing around in my head. I thought about tutus, duck tape wallets, and more. I finally decided that I wanted to make bookmarks that fit over the corner of your book! It seemed like a really cool idea that I wanted to try. First, I made a pattern that I would use for each bookmark I made. I used the corners of construction paper. After I made my pattern, I went to work! Here is what a bookmark look like in a book. The next thing we .
I started with card stock paper and made a folder shape, and then I covered it in duct tape. I took the pictures of the plants on my iPod or camera. After that, I edited, rotated, cropped, and personalized the pictures. Down below is a slideshow of after I edited and filtered the pictures. And these are the pictures before I edited, cropped, rotated and put filters on them. Video we watched in class. You use wire to cut the clay.
My left picture is before I printed and the one on the right is when its on paper, and printed. For my Product design project I made a duct tape wallet. DUCT TAPE because you can make anything out of duct tape. This was my first time ever trying to make a duct tape wallet. I made my costume out of a black coat, tape for the machete on my back, some filet knives, and a ski mask. What I learned about Doug Reynolds and the potters wheel.
This project was very fun and interesting! I took my time, but I still had many challenges to face. I had to do a 2d project and it took a long time. Frist, i had to go thrugh a long drawing proccs. Second, i had to start on my project. Therd, i had to draw the head. Forth, i had to draw the body. lastly, i had to draw the feet. To see my original source. 1 How to center the clay. 2 The angl of the hand. 3 Air bobls out of clay. 1 He makes the potter wheel look easy. 3 He made good pot.
