Welcome to Room 137! My name is Ms. Smith and I am thrilled to be part of the vibrant Queen Anne Elementary School community. I have been teaching for five years and I am looking forward to working with your first grade student. First grade is an exciting year and we will be very busy this year in room 137. I mostly work on extinction problems. I have modelled two different Bayesian approaches to estimate extinction based on a sighting record. Both these models formally account for uncertainty within the sightings records, which is a key advancement on existing models.
Multinomial data with covariates using INLA. After a discussion with Havard Rue, I came up with this example which both shows how to add covariates and a comparison of analysis of simple data using INLA versus another existing R package.
