Tuesday, August 23, 2011. A week ago a dear friend of mine passed away. She was an amazing person and I am so blessed to have had her as my friend. She was one of a group of us girls who all got married within the same year and then we all had our first babies together. Monday, August 22, 2011.

This is a favorite for warm summer days! 2 cup uncooked Medium shell pasta. 1 cup bottled coleslaw dressing. 4 cups shredded cooked chicken. 1 20 oz can pineapple, drained. 1 8 oz can sliced water chestnuts drained and diced. 1 large red skinned apple, diced. 1 cup green seedless grapes. 4 celery ribs, diced. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and transfer to a large bowl.
Friday, October 19, 2012. Mummy Dogs, Eye of the Tiger, and Bouncing Curls. There must be something in the air this time of year. Fall seems to bring with it the smell of fallen leaves, a cool crispness in the air, and the preamble to the holiday season. Something about it always makes me reflect on years past and each and every year I am amazed at how fast time flies.
