DCG is a Leaving Certificate subject that aims to stimulate the creative and decision making capabilities of students in the field of design. What did we do today.

Engineering is a Leaving Certificate course. The course represents a study of a wide range of mechanical engineering materials, processes and technological applications integrated with the acquisition of the manipulative skills and techniques necessary for practical resourcefulness, creativity and design realisation in the execution of work.

Metalwork is a Junior Certificate course which allows students to make things out. Of metals and plastics, including electronics. It exposes them to different applications of technology. They learn about design and use different machines, materials, tools and processes to make their projects. In 1st and 2nd year students will cover both practical and theory. This is done through textbooks as well as suitable and challenging projects. Start your own free website.

3D Drawing and Isometric Projection. Technical Graphics is a Junior Certificate course which involves students in the development of the range of skills associated with the solving spatial problems and using drawings to communication ideas and solutions. Assessment is split between exams and project work in 1st and 2nd year and the November exams for 3rd year. There is a single 3 hour exam for the Junior Certificate. What did we do today.
