Sitting On Clouds
Mom and I went on an overnight hike to a lake near Mount Hood. It was a bit of an adventure the first day, what with taking five hours to get to lake and arriving after dark, with no place to camp. But still, it was a fun trip. One of the perks of taking as long as we did. The sun was setting right as we reached the top of a ridge and we had a fantastic view of Mount Hood and the entire valley below filled up with pink and gold.
