Well, at one point, I received a stash of prefold diapers that were missing layers and were frayed on the edge because layers had been ripped off. This stash got set aside while I tried to think what to do with them, since I hate throwing things away if I still think they MIGHT have life left in them. Trash prefolds then get a new lease on life, as well.
