We are reading many different versions of The Gingerbread Boy. We have been paying close attention to the key details in the stories and comparing the versions to tell how they are alike and how they are different. We also had a lot of fun taking turns acting out the story! Our new popcorn word was -and. Please spend a few minutes each night reviewing the popcorn words we are working on each week in school.

I hope that everyone had a lovely Christmas Break. Math 5 is entered Chp. 6 before break, which focuses on multiplication and division with decimals. We spent a great deal of time focusing on multiplying decimals. This week we will review the multiplication of decimals and then move onto divsion with decimals.

I want to thank those who made it to Parent Night. We had a great discussion about fundraising for our upcoming field trip to Washington D. The dates have been set. May 17-May18 will be our days in D.
