Nu har jag varit hemma i Sverige i 527 dagar, och jag har insett något mycket tråkigt. Idag tittade jag igenom gamla filmklipp på mobilen från Skottland, och jag kände knappt igen min gammla dialekt. Min standardengelska har också försämrats helt allmänt. Nu behöver jag ibland tänka efter när det gäller ordval och grammatik ibland. Det är en riktig förlust, och jag saknar språket massor. Att jag inte läst engelska som ämne i skolan sedan min hemkomst till Sverige har säkert inte heller hjälpt.
