Saturday, June 21, 2008. You may all remember those aluminum collapsible drinking cups of the 40s and 50s. I have one pictured here and every time I go to demonstrate it to someone. that cup always seems to collapse just as I take my first sip of water from that useless cup. Now I know why they call it a collapsible cup. While doing a web search I came upon a similar invention. perhaps dreamed up by someone that owned one of those foolish drinking cups.
