Helen Keller learned how to read lips , read braille and started learning to speak by the age or nine. She went on to go to college and became a leader for blind and deaf people around the world. She changed the worlds view on people with disabilities. Her legacy lives on from Helen Keller International and all the achievements she accomplished.

The emancipation proclamation stated that he had the power to free the slaves. What did he do? Abraham Lincoln was the writer of the emancipation proclamation. It gave only Lincoln the power to free the slaves from the southern states that where still in the rebellion. The proclamation also allowed freed slaves.
