The clock tower was hand-wound until 1940, when the clock was modified to run on electricity. The Neenah Public Library is located at 240 East Wisconsin Avenue. The history of the Neenah Library reaches back to 1882. Riverside Park- Then and Now. December 1872 - Bought from Henry Sherry by the Village Board. June 1885 - Wooden dance hall was donated by Henry Sherry. 1895 - Channel dug deeper by the Corps of Engineers to allow for large steamboats to land at the park. 1920 - The city received the first gun to be put in the park, but it was later given to a World War II scrap drive. 1948 - A larger Japanese gun replaced the first.
Neenah Joint School District Administration Building. Built in 1907, this building has since served as the control center for elementary, middle, and high schools within the Neenah Joint School District.
