West bank of the Fox River. Home of James Duane Doty, the 2nd territorial governor of Wisconsin. First a retirement home, then a resort, now a museum. Replica built in 1948 after original cabin fell into disrepair.
The Neenah fire station in the 1930s. 8203;Fire Station 32 was originally built in 1962 on 125 E. Later on, in 1998, the building was renovated and now looks how it does today. The building currently provides bunking for the firefighters and holds supplies and vehicles for fighting fires. Original building located in the city hall with the clock tower.
The clock tower was hand-wound until 1940, when the clock was modified to run on electricity. The Neenah Public Library is located at 240 East Wisconsin Avenue. The history of the Neenah Library reaches back to 1882. The land for the current library location was donated by Mrs. This library opened on Sunday, January 24, 1904 from 2 to 5 pm. The Carnegie library underwent renovations in 1964.
